Terex TL Transmission Aerial Device
Terex Utilities has expanded its TL Series of aerial devices with 3 new telescopic and material handling models designed for transmission work. Cost-effective mounting options, commonality of parts, and reduced maintenance features are ways TL Transmission Aerials Devices deliver economical cost of ownership over the life of the equipment. The series include the TL80, TL100, and TL80/112, which provide 80 ft., 100 ft., and 112 ft. working heights, respectively.
Terex PAL in the Bucket
Terex Utilities has a history of pioneering innovations in the utility market. The Positive Attachment Lanyard (PAL) device is one such example. The PAL provides audio and visual warnings to an operator when controls are engaged and the lanyard has not been attached to the lanyard anchor. PAL will be an available feature on Terex® Hi-Ranger™ LT40 aerial devices and XTPro Series Tree Trimmer trucks by ICUEE 2019.
Terex Updates Load Alert Monitor Display
Terex Utilities has updated the monitor display for the Terex Load Alert system. Load Alert monitors and analyzes the truck’s jib and platform capacity and boom positions on Terex aerial devices. It provides visible and audible alerts when an overload is detected. Load Alert monitors boom angle, platform & jib capacity, winch line distance from the platform pivot point, and winch line load. The system supplements users’ safe work practices by providing immediate feedback to an operator.
